Pikeland Families:
The following message was sent out this afternoon through our voice messaging system.
Tonight is Snack Pack pick-up from 4:30-6:00. All locations are the same as last week EXCEPT Nebo. Nebo pick-up will be at the corner restaurant, NOT at the school.
I hope that all students have had time to work on their learning packets over the last week. Each building will be mailing out additional learning calendars and activities this Friday. These materials are for next week. We will let you know when and how we plan to collect the finished work soon.
Right now, school is set to resume on April 8. We will keep you updated on any changes to that date. We will also have plans for additional learning should that date be extended.
We hope that all of you are staying well and are practicing social distancing! Please don't let the added burden of school add additional stress to your household right now. Do what you can do and know that your child's grades will not be negatively impacted if they are unable to do all of the work. Do the best you can to keep your children learning.
Remember, too, that learning happens in many ways. Teaching your child to do laundry or how to bake a cake is learning, too. Find opportunities within your day to share learning with your kids. Read a book, put a puzzle together, or do some exercise as a family. While the situation we are in is new to all of us, I hope that on some level it helps us all grow and learn as individuals and as families.
Thank you and I will be in touch with more information next week. Please call us if we can be of any help.
