Four Pikeland students and their music instructors traveled to Western Illinois University on Saturday, November 5, 2022 to participate in the ILMEA All-District Festival.
Katelyn Musgrove was selected to play French Horn in the senior orchestra.
Bryleigh Frieden, Eli Palmer, and Cooper Smith played bari saxophone, trumpet and trombone respectively in the junior band.
ILMEA (Illinois Music Education Association) promotes lifelong opportunities to learn music and provides leadership within music education. To earn a spot in the All-District Festival, students participate in rigorous practice sessions, audition and prepare for feedback about their music skills.
Pikeland is fortune to have talented music instructors, dedicated students and parents who support the programming. Congratulations to all!
